3 years ago This space is where DC firefighters Fireboat 1, the John Glenn, is normally moored. Today she left for a shipyard in Baltimore for an overhaul. Our fleet of smaller vessels and fully staffed crew remain at the ready to answer any calls for assistance on the water
3 years ago Last night DC firefighters transported an adult male from Evarts Street NE. It was subsequently determined this individual was injured at the Working Fire in the 5000 block of B St SE, and left scene prior to our arrival. Investigators are continuing to determine the circumstances
