DC firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at Anacostia Ave & Ord St at 4:24 AM on Sunday, 8/21. A fully involved vehicle had extended to a combustible outdoor structure it was parked under. Two units extinguished the blaze. Investigators were requested to the scene. No injuries

1 year agoConstitution Ave closed off. This stems from a shooting this morning. three suspects were taken into custody including a juvenile. The juvenile was also in possession of a firearm. No reported injuries
17th street between Constitution and Independence Avenues is also closed right now. Park police tell three people are currently in police custody being questioned. They have not been arrested. Shots were fired into cars parked on Constitution Ave just after 1 this morning
