DC firefighters Platoon 2 responded to 564 calls on May 23rd-24th. There were 182 critical and 287 non-critical EMS dispatches, and 95 fire related incidents and other types of emergencies, including 1 working structure fire
Shooting Investigation at 0218 hours in the 2400 block of 16th St NW. Lookout for a White Minivan heading Northbound on 16th St NW
Homicide SHOOTING: MPD has stated this is an homicide shooting with one individual who was pronounced dead on scene from gunshot wound injuries inside a tent. This individual was more than likely apart of the unhoused community
The car that was involved in the earlier shooting on 1200 block of N. Capitol St. landed in the alley between Ridge Street and the 400 block of N St. MPD is currently on the scene collecting information

22yo arrested: incident at Walmart 7081 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. While officers were attempting to disperse the crowd, one vehicle intentionally drove toward & nearly struck several officers. The suspect and officer were transported to an area hospital with NLT injuries
