Rescuers are currently searching under the South Capitol St Bridge (Frederick Douglass) where tire tracks suggest an auto has gone into the Anacostia River. They were initially sent to the 11th St bridge. So far, nobody sees the auto. Eagle assisting

1 year agoThe scene is actually on the 800 block of Rhode Island Ave NW. (in front of the Foster House Apartments) Police are still here but have contained the crime scene.
1 year agoThis is a Fatal shooting at a homeless encampment on 8th St NW off of Rhode Island Ave NW in ShawDC with the victim pronounced dead on the scene. The scene has since been cleared.
