FBI and other federal agents conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle along with the Metropolitan Police Department on U Street NW during the evening in Washington, D.C., on August 15, 2025. The traffic stop with assistance from the federal agents in the area are part of President Donald Trump’s crime reduction plan for the District of Columbia.
PG FATAL HIT AND RUN: Officers responded to the area of Shell Street and Billings Ave at approximately 8:00 p.m. for a collision involving a pick-up truck and a electric bicycle. The operator of the electric bicycle, an adult male, was pronounced deceased on the scene.

3 month agoThe Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), United States Marshals, and the Metropolitan Police Department conducted a warrant execution in the 3300 block of Georgia Avenue Northwest.
One individual is in custody in regards to the stabbing that occurred. STABBING IN NORTHWEST Units are on scene investigating a stabbing in the 1800 block of Harvard street N.W. The severity of the injuries is unknown
