A man of adult age suffered a gunshot wound in a shooting in the area of the 300 block of K Street Southwest at approximately 2:37 PM, Friday afternoon in Washington, D.C., on January 24, 2025. The man who was shot is conscious, breathing and the victim was picked up by EMS in the area of the 900 block of 3rd Street Southwest. Crime scene tape is set up around the Safeway located near the 300 Block of K Street Southwest. Authorities are looking for a suspect described as a black man, medium complexion, wearing all black and wearing a black ski mask while fleeing the scene on a Citi bike.
