U.S. SECRET SERVICE OFFICER ASSAULTED NEAR TREASURY BUILDING W/ONE IN CUSTODY: @SecretService has confirmed an individual jumped over a construction wall this morning near the Treasury building and once engaged by officers that individual began to fight.

The incident took place on April 12, 2026, at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Okie Street NE, where MPD officers observed a verbal altercation between the suspect and victim.
