3 years ago CRITICAL SHOOTING-- Man drove to the Engine-30 firehouse at 49th St and Central Ave NE DC with gunshot wounds. He was last reported as semi-conscious, being taken to a trauma center. Unclear where the crime scene might be at this point

3 years ago Box Alarm 5300 block Conn. Ave NW. DC firefighters located & removed a cat to safety from the fire apartment. Cat is doing OK with 8 lives still to go. Smoke removal and clean-up operations completed with no injuries. Once again, sprinklers proved their worth
