6 month agoDC Police are holding another ‘Traffic Safety Compliance Checkpoint’ on North Capitol Street & Michigan Ave NE tonight.Last time around, MPD issued 54 traffic infractions made 2 arrests.Not sure if this is related but stay away from North Capital going towards Michigan Ave
3 students were robbed at gunpoint while headed to school today. It happened outside of Eastern High School. One student was taken to the hospital after a suspect bashed them in the face with their rifle. Police are looking for 3 black males who took off in a black 4 door sedan and a silver small SUV. The suspects got away with Balenciaga shoes, a Moose Knuckle Coat and an IPhone 14.

6 month agoA federal court just invalidated Trump’s ”Liberation Day" tariffs, ruling he exceeded his authority under IEEPA. The court said Trump can’t bypass Congress to set trade policy and that these tariffs are unconstitutional and void
